UPS.. why does thou art suck?

So I ordered my new PC parts a couple days ago. Finally I was going to be able to play new gen PC games. I can sort of play them now, but not well. It had been 4 days since I ordered from newegg and they arrived.

The box looked suspicious. It was re-tapped and lumpy. I didn't think much of it because sometimes boxes just look like that and I've never had a problem with UPS shipping before (except one time, 5 years ago, I ordered paintballs and they were smushed). This time it was different. The first thing I saw when I opened the delivery box was a crushed cpu box. I had to search around for the heatsink, because it wasn't near the cpu box. The actual cpu chip wasn't even there. That wasn't the only thing that was messed up either. My RAM was missing too, not even a trace. I realize that sometimes they come separately, but it specifically stated it was coming in the same box as everything else. My motherboard and software looked ok. But I wont know for sure until I can test it out.

I talked to a newegg rep. and got a replacement (which was easy btw, no hassle). My new parts should be coming soon, but WTF UPS. Next time I buy parts online, I'm going with fedex. I hope UPS doesn't make the same mistake on my replacement parts.
